Inspiring Impact aimed to increase the impact of charities and social enterprises. It was developed in recognition that poor quality information can hold exceptional organisations back from creating the change they want to see.
Inspiring Impact supported people who worked or volunteered for charities and social enterprises to better understand how their activities are connected to change on the ground, to identify opportunities for learning and improvement. The project was funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, and was supported by a range of other delivery partners across the UK. The Inspiring Impact Evaluation and Learning report can be found here.
Since the closure of the programme, some of the resources have moved to partners who supported the work of the programme. GMSVN was supportive of this work and keen to help support this legacy and is happy to house some of the resources that will benefit VCSE groups and organisations across Greater Manchester.
Social Value UK was the lead in England for Inspiring Impact and will be working in partnership with GMSVN to deliver a range of activities aimed at embedding the ‘Inspiring Impact’ approach. This will include a programme of work targeting social purpose organisations across Greater Manchester.
