Anne’s role includes leading a programme of reform around social value – which started by supporting commissioning and procurement in Health and Social Care, and has now become the Salford Social Value City initiative.
Anne is a key member of the team which developed Salford’s Locality Plan under the GM Health and Social Care devolution agreement. She is involved in the development of a strategy for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector, which describes the sector’s role in effecting change in Salford, and leads on structures for partnership working in the City.
Anne is a qualified social accountant and auditor, has published several articles and research papers about evaluation, particularly focusing on the practice of social accounting and audit, is Treasurer of the Social Audit Network and on the advisory Council of Social Value UK.
